The PetakaTM Mini-Bioreactor

The CelartiaTM cell culture system features a mini-bioreactor, called Petaka™ G3, which offers pseudo-hermetic conditions for cell culture. This design contains other fundamental aspects that provides great versatility:

• It has applied the principle of partitioning to cell cultures which leads to a significant increase in performance and safety, as first demonstrated by our Chief Science Officer, Dr. Barbera. This principle is based on the mass cultivation in small bioreactors.

• The structural design allows the  analysis of the bioeactor contents without having to remove contents or open the bioreactor.

• Organic products within the bioreactore are thereby preserved from external contamination.

The CelartiaTM Industrial Bioreactor

This is the most advanced large scale cell culture system, holding from 200 to 2000 liters of media. With NO impellers, the Industrial Bioreact utilizes a special technology, known as wave or tide enhanced mixing and features a low speed range for mixing all types of cells: mammalian, algae, yeast, fungi, bacteria.
